How Lasers Work?
Laser hair removal works by passing a beam of light through the skin. The laser targets dark pigment called melanin in the hair. When the beam strikes the hair follicle ,the laser is absorbed by the hair and the intense heat destroys the hair follicle instantly.
The laser hair removal works on the principal of selective photothermolysis i.e the laser targets only the melanin (black) pigment in the hair and other tissues of the skin are spared
Multiple Laser sessions are Required
Usually it requires 6-8 sittings to achieve permanent hair reduction. The laser strikes only hair which are in anagen phase (active phase). The hair in the telogen phase (resting phase) are not effected untill they become active, so multiple sessions are required
